I'm Matilda, a freelance illustrator working between Nottingham and the Chilterns.

After completing my Art and Design Foundation at Loughborough University, I began developing my illustration practice, specialising in watercolour, ink and drawing.

My work is inspired by nature, folklore, storytelling and the small details that make places and memories feel special. Alongside my freelance work, I'm developing Hartsong — my own illustrated world bringing together folklore, seasonal traditions, baking and storytelling.
